Summary:
Our client is seeking a strong candidate for infrastructure design and implementation of Exchange platform. The role requires the ability to design, test, install, configure and troubleshoot the product and components that make up the globally distributed deployment of Exchange Infrastructure. The candidate will contribute to a variety of projects that require integration into Mail platform.
Job Description:
- Develop/Enhance and Maintain the existing Exchange online (O365) and Exchange on Premise platform with the following components:
- platform security, authentication, certificate trust models
- Server architecture
- disaster recovery and BCM
- storage optimization
- existing 3rd party components
- tools and processes required to operate a global Mail service
- documentation of the service and its associated software, tools and processes
- patches and service packs are evaluated, tested and made available to the support organization
- Engage with the global support organization to ensure their requirements are understood and fulfilled, to effectively operate and support the product.
- Work with product vendor(s) on escalation issues
Required Skills:
- Excellent understanding of the capabilities of Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online (O365)
- Excellent Office365 / Exchange online / OneDrive for Business
- User Migrations between different Exchange versions
- Expertise in engineering Exchange Infrastructure in a global environment
- Strong understanding of IIS, DNS and network load balancing
- Strong PowerShell skills including SQL queries and PowerShell cmdlets etc.
- Working understanding of Kerberos authentication and delegation
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
