Reports to: Senior Vice President, Infrastructure
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, maintain and support the corporate infrastructure (including network and servers, internet and inter-office connectivity), develop, plan and implement new solutions
- Identifies, diagnose, troubleshoot and develop solutions to infrastructure issues and problems.
- Provide support for Office 365 cloud solution email
- Support, implement changes and improve AWS infrastructure
- Support , implement changes on VMWare clusters, Citrix XenAPP and Cisco UCM servers.
- Take weekly trips to the datacenter (or as necessary) for routine inspection/checks of the hardware infrastructure
- Document new solutions and support processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience supporting Active Directory/MS Exchange environments (Exchange 2010/Office365)
- 3-5 years of experience with networking (Cisco IOS/Nexus, Palo Alto, routing protocols)
- 3-5 years of experience with Virtualization technologies, clustering – VMWare ESXi and Veeam preferred
- 1-3 years of experience with AWS cloud technologies (VPC, EC2 instances, S3)
- 1-3 years of experience supporting Cisco UCM telephony systems
- Working experience with Citrix Xenapp/Netscaler technologies
- Working knowledge of storage appliances (NetAPP preferred) SAN technologies and storage protocols (iSCSI/FC/FCoE)
- Working knowledge of configuration management tools (puppet preferred)
- Working knowledge of server provisioning automation (cobbler, kickstart)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools, (Nagios, Icinga2)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
