The Network Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing and managing enterprise network solutions to improve the bank’s systems and networks.

This position is located in beautiful suburban Bergen County, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development of the design, implementation and management of the enterprise network systems as well as network infrastructure including Firewalls, Switches, Routers, VPN appliances, Wireless and Voice network.
- Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration and installation.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining standards related to network system configurations, security and service.
- Will also implement and maintain processes, procedures and associated plans for network infrastructure including administration, usage and disaster recovery.
- Provide technical mentoring of network standards, standards and support staff.
Knowledge You Will Bring:
- Knowledge of Juniper and Cisco operating systems and their management required.
- Solid understanding of industry best standards and hardening to network solutions and the implementation of the configurations.
- Knowledge of current industry best practices of network design and security.
Skills:
- Strong “client first” interest and ability.
- Strong grasp of networks (LAN/WAN/SAN/WiFi/MPLS), Windows environments, wiring and cabling, and network management and maintenance.
- Can-Do attitude and ability to work with teammates towards a common goal
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business.
- Cisco/Juniper certification(s)
